| Formerly named Richmond EdWatch, What's Going On is the Richmond Improvement Association's weekly cable access television show that is broadcast to viewers in both Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. The studio talk show is produced by John Monks and is aired via El Cerrito's Comcast television studio (Channel 26) in West Contra Costa and Alameda County.
For the past two years, the talk show hosted by Rev. Andre Shumake has provided guests with a valuable outlet to voice different concerns along with other positive happenings that regularly take place in the community. Guest on the weekly show have included community activists, educators, civic officials, youth advocates, local entertainers, and other members of the faith community. What's Going On is aired to viewers in Oakland, Emeryville, San Leandro, Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito, Richmond, San Pablo, Pinole, Hercules, Rodeo and Crockett. The show is aired on Wednesday nights @ 7:00 p.m. |
